Manufactured using wet-strengthĀ kraft paper and meeting the technical requirements of BS 1521 forĀ waterproof building papers,Ā NoviaĀ® A1FĀ has a polymer reinforcement scrimĀ running throughout the bitumen core of the material.Ā
NoviaĀ® A1FĀ meets the highest specification of BS 1521, classĀ A1F, making it suitable for a wide range of user definedĀ projectsĀ within the construction industry.
Unlike many other recent developments in building membranes (eg breathable membranes and Air & Vapour Control Layers), BS 1521 does not give guidance on suitable use. As suchĀ NoviaĀ® A1FĀ is a generic material, serving a wide range of end-user defined applications.Ā
