Permavent is manufactured using unique bonding techniques adapted from the medical industry. Permavent's exclusive laminating processes produce a multi-layer membrane with incredible tensile strength and superior water vapour transmission. For long-lasting protection of roofing timbers, this underlay is hard to beat.

This breather membrane has excellent water shedding and vapour transfer characteristics, keeping timbers dry, free from rot in both domestic and commercial environments.

Permavent Eco conforms several industry standards including BS 5534:2014, BS 5250, BS EN 1991 1-4 amongst others, and is CE Certified. Further details can be found in the data sheets below.

This roll is 50m x 1,5m with a coverage of 75m ² and should be fitted in accordance with BS 5534:2014. Permavent Eco should be installed with the logo uppermost, horizontally across the roof.

Minimum Horizontal Laps

This breather membrane is suitable for use in wind zones 1-4 with both battened lap (250mm batten gauge) and taped lap.

It can be used on cold roofs, cold vented roofs, traditional hybrid roof, and Scottish and Fully boarded applications. It is LABC assured.
