Danelaw Felt Lap Vent / Underlay Ventilator - Pack of 32

The Hambleside Danelaw underlay lap vent has a shallow and tapered design to fit between the overlaps in the roofing underlay below the tiles or slates to introduce ventilation openings.

It is retrofitted to reduce condensation in the roof space. Simple for anyone to fit from inside the loft by simply inserting between the overlaps of roofing felt or underlay where the overlaps are tight

• Can be fitted in joist centres with a range of 400mm - 600mm, suitable for most roofs
• Provides the loft space with 2280mm² airflow per unit installed
  
• Easy to fit product with a tapered lead to allow easy insertion between the felt lap vents
• Unlike most other felt la vents, these can be trimmed to fit smaller spaces or joined together to make a longer vent.

Buyer Notes

This product is not designed to replace conventional roof ventilation openings or recommended for use in new construction work where adequate roof space ventilation should be provided in accordance with BS5250:2011 - Control of Condensation in Buildings.

The specifier or installer should ensure that the opening of the roofing underlay laps on the property will not adversely increase the wind uplift loading on the roof covering or the driving rain resistance of the roof; see BS5534:2003+A1:2010 - Code of Practice for Slating and Tiling (including shingles), clauses 5.8.1 & 6.2.1.1
