Everbuild Black Jack Bitumen & Flashing Primer 902

This is a thin black primer used to give a key prior to applying bitumen paints, roof coatings, and flashing. Part of our Everbuild Black Jack range.

Mainly used for priming concrete roofs and floors, bitumen felt, asphalt, mastic, weather corrugated iron, corrugated steel, and wood, and can also be used before applied Everbuild Black Jack Flashing tape.

It can be easily applied to surfaces using either a brush or spray.

• Chemical Base: White Spirit
• Colour: Black
• Shelf Life: 24 months from Manufacture in tightly sealed undamaged tins
• Density: ca. 0.9 g/cm ³ at 20 °c
• Service Temperature: -20 °c - +30 °c
• Ambient Air Temperature: 5 °c - 50 °c. Surfaces must be free from ice and water
• Drying Time: 3 - 6 hours depending on drying conditions
• Storage Details: Store in original container in cool dry conditions (5 °c - 30 °c) and away from sources of ignition.
• Chemical Resistance -
  
  • Resistant to most salt solutions, dilute acids/alkalis, water, and alcohol.
  • Not resistant to oils, solvents, and some detergent solution.
• Coverage -
  • Porous Surfaces: - 4-6m ²
  • Non-porous Surfaces - 11m ²
