YBS SuperQuilt Lite delivers a fantastically quick and clean, easy to fit insulation option in areas with only limited space. 

Though only 32mm thick, it provides the same insulation as 90mm of mineral wool making it especially popular for insulating loft conversions and timber-framed buildings.

SuperQuilt Lite is formed from nine sandwiched layers of high-performance foam and foil. The aluminium foil reflects all forms of thermal radiation, while the foam layers trap insulating air. The quilt acts like a highly efficient duvet, keeping your living space warm and cosy in winter. In hot weather, the quilt acts as a barrier to infra-red radiation – keeping the building cool and comfortable. As well as improving your living or working conditions, SuperQuilt Lite 9 multi-layer foil insulation also helps to reduce your heating and cooling system costs.

Installation couldn’t be easier. The material is light, clean, and easily cut with a craft knife or scissors. In practice, it is often fixed in place with 14mm stainless steel or galvanised staples. Special foil tape is available to seal the joins. The quilt is most effective when fitted with a 38mm air gap at either side.
