Galvanised Roof Hip Iron

Our hot dipped Galvanised Roof Hip Irons. are used to prevent eaves hip tiles from falling off the roof.

Traditionally, roof hip irons were used to hold the eaves hip tile in place while the fixing mortar was drying. Hip irons are also useful as a safety feature to prevent hip tiles from slipping when the fixing mortar cracks or fails.

Our Galvanised Roof Hip Irons feature a traditional ornamental scroll. They are pre-drilled with screw holes for attachment to the hip rafter.
