Manthorpe Double Pantile Tile Vent - GTV-DP

This Manthorpe Double Pantile Vent is compatible with the following manufacturers / tiles:

From our extensive range of roof vents, the Manthorpe Double Pantile Vent can be used as a simple, discreet option for roof space, mechanical extract, or soil stack ventilation. This easy to install ventilation can be matched to the profiles of double pantile roof tiles from four of the UK’s leading manufacturers. The vent operates by transferring air through an inconspicuous grille on the upper surface directly into to the roof space. The reverse of the vent features an angled, polypropylene chamber which immediately expels any incoming rainwater.

The dimensions of this vent and its interlocking edge are perfectly matched to its equivalent roof tile. Fitting is quick and easy, with a 48.25mm outlet feeding 10,000mm2 of circulated air into the roof space. A louvred grille keeps birds, insects, and debris out of the roof. Any rainwater entering the grille is immediately fed back out onto the roof through twin, polypropylene channels built into the body of the vent. Manthorpe Double Pantile Vents are suitable for pitched roofs as low as 20 degrees.

With an exceptionally low profile, the ventilating grille is barely visible from ground level. At only 332mm x 418mm the rear of the vent is easily accessible for fitting the adaptor and flexible pipes required for extract applications.

Independently Tested to BS 8612

Following the increased use of dry fix systems courtesy of these updates to BS 5534, a brand-new standard BS 8612 was introduced in February of 2018 to better control the design and material construction of dry fix systems. Manthorpe’s range of dry fix products have been independently tested to conform with the requirements of BS 8612, performance data for the tests conducted on these products is available upon request.

By far the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective way of complying with the new standard is to join the switch to dry fix methods of roofing. Manthorpe's dry fix systems provide a high performance, easy to fix and maintenance free solution which can not only speed up the job on site, but also offer long term financial benefits.

The Bat Ridge Roost provides a habitable roost space for small crevice-dwelling bat species found in the UK.

Designed in association with the Bat Conservation Trust as part of their Roost Partnership scheme the product is a self-contained, externally mounted unit which offers no means of access for the bats to enter the roof space or the property. The Bat Ridge Roost also acts as a ridge end cap and is optimised to work in conjunction with the Manthorpe SmartVerge Polypropylene handed and ambidextrous dry verge systems (alternatively, could also be used with third party dry verge, traditional verge tiles or mortared in verge details).
