Manthorpe Interlocking Plain Tile Vent - GTV-IP

The Manthorpe interlocking plain tile ventilator is designed for use with small format twin plain tiles. The Non-Profile Tile Vent is compatible with the following manufacturers / tiles:

Redland DuoPlain
Forticrete Gemini

The vent features a unique sliding mechanism to adjust its width to suit the different sizes of tiles available. Thanks to this patented design feature, the vent suits all three styles of interlocking plain tiles; the Redland DuoPlain, Marley Ashmore and Forticrete Gemini.

The curved, in-line profile helps to maintain an unbroken appearance to the roofline at high or low level with a range of colours available to suit varying roof styles.

The tortured path through the internal weathering geometry is designed to maintain a constant airflow gap of 6,000mm² whilst channelling any water ingress out of the vent and on to the roof covering below, with the 4mm louvred grill in place to prevent the entry of debris and large nesting insects. When using the vent for mechanical extraction or soil stack / vent pipe termination, a 4" pipe adaptor can be fitted to the vent to connect to one of the GRPA Flexible Pipe range.

Independently Tested to BS 8612

Following the increased use of dry fix systems courtesy of these updates to BS 5534, a brand-new standard BS 8612 was introduced in February of 2018 to better control the design and material construction of dry fix systems. Manthorpe’s range of dry fix products have been independently tested to conform with the requirements of BS 8612, performance data for the tests conducted on these products is available upon request.

By far the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective way of complying with the new standard is to join the switch to dry fix methods of roofing. Manthorpe's dry fix systems provide a high performance, easy to fix and maintenance free solution which can not only speed up the job on site, but also offer long term financial benefits.

The Bat Ridge Roost provides a habitable roost space for small crevice-dwelling bat species found in the UK.

Designed in association with the Bat Conservation Trust as part of their Roost Partnership scheme the product is a self-contained, externally mounted unit which offers no means of access for the bats to enter the roof space or the property. The Bat Ridge Roost also acts as a ridge end cap and is optimised to work in conjunction with the Manthorpe SmartVerge Polypropylene handed and ambidextrous dry verge systems (alternatively, could also be used with third party dry verge, traditional verge tiles or mortared in verge details).
