Manthorpe Non-Profile Tile Vent - GTV-NP

This Manthorpe Non-Profile Tile Vent is compatible with the following manufacturers / tiles:

  • Redland Mini Stonewold
  • Marley Modern
  • Sandtoft Caderdale
  • Russell Grampian
  • Lagan Flat

From our range of compact roof vents, this Manthorpe Non-Profile Vent can be used as a simple, ventilated replacement for a flat, concrete or clay roof tile. Out of the box, this easy to fit roof vent feeds a large volume of air directly into the roof space. A specially angled chamber on the reverse of the vent channels any rainwater ingress straight out onto the roof.

The face of the roof vent features a special lip to divert rainwater from the grille. The grille itself is particularly discreet, being almost unnoticeable from ground level. Horizontal uPVC slats are spaced at 4mm, to keep insects, birds, and debris out of the roof. Any rainwater that enters the grille is immediately diverted through twin, polypropylene channels onto the roof below the tile. An ample, 48.25mm outlet is provided on the underside to ventilate the roof space with 10,000mm2 of fresh air.

Manthorpe’s Non - Profile Vent is a particularly attractive ventilation solution on a modern build. These in-line roof vents are easily adapted to handle soil stack ventilation or mechanical extraction. These vents are suitable for pitched roofs as low as 20 degrees, and are fully compatible with standard, flat profile, concrete, and clay tiles from most of the main UK manufacturers.

Ashbrook Roofing also stock a full range of fixings and other roofing supplies to match this superb range of Manthorpe roof vents.

Independently Tested to BS 8612

Following the increased use of dry fix systems courtesy of these updates to BS 5534, a brand-new standard BS 8612 was introduced in February of 2018 to better control the design and material construction of dry fix systems. Manthorpe’s range of dry fix products have been independently tested to conform with the requirements of BS 8612, performance data for the tests conducted on these products is available upon request.

By far the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective way of complying with the new standard is to join the switch to dry fix methods of roofing. Manthorpe's dry fix systems provide a high performance, easy to fix and maintenance free solution which can not only speed up the job on site, but also offer long term financial benefits.

The Bat Ridge Roost provides a habitable roost space for small crevice-dwelling bat species found in the UK.

Designed in association with the Bat Conservation Trust as part of their Roost Partnership scheme the product is a self-contained, externally mounted unit which offers no means of access for the bats to enter the roof space or the property. The Bat Ridge Roost also acts as a ridge end cap and is optimised to work in conjunction with the Manthorpe SmartVerge Polypropylene handed and ambidextrous dry verge systems (alternatively, could also be used with third party dry verge, traditional verge tiles or mortared in verge details).
