Roof Felt Adhesive 1 Litre or 5 Litres

These tins of Felt Roof Adhesive contain a cold applied oxidised bitumen-based adhesive.

This bitumen roofing felt adhesive can bond your roof felt to metal, concrete, timber and other building surfaces. Whether you're working on a new roof or repairing an old one, this adhesive will insulate the gaps and keep them held down. Felt is a weatherproof roofing option that performs well despite being quite thin. This adhesive sticks down the overlaps of the felt to the roof frame and seals the corners to stop excess draughts and leaks.

If you're working on a job that calls for a stylish look, you can use roof felt adhesive to bond wood chips too. Its tough construction resists salt, acids, alcohol and alkalis so the roof remains strong. Once dried, the adhesive will be stuck tight, and will respond to changing temperatures without losing its strength.

Operating out of a single site in Castleford West Yorkshire allows them to service their customers efficiently and keep lead times to a minimum. Their location gives us fantastic access to the countries road networks and enables them to offer an excellent service across the U.K.

They have developed their range of products during their growth and can meet any requirements in the bituminous waterproofing market; from DIY to high performance modified torch on.

In 2002 they formed Rose Building & Waterproofing LLP where they manufacture a wide range of bituminous waterproofing solutions alongside Rose Roofing Ltd at their site in Castleford.

They offer a wide range of products that can service the needs of the entire Roofing & DIY market offering an almost complete product range.

They pride themrselves in building long standing relationships with some of the UK’s leading merchants, leisure manufacturers and retail operations.

Every product they manufacture is tested in their in-house lab to ensure it is of the highest quality. Multiple parts of each batch are sampled and tested before being approved. Their laboratory is audited multiple times a year by numerous certification bodies to ensure that each test is being carried out to the highest standard.

The products that they manufacture are covered by ‘BS EN 13707:2004+A2:2009-Flexible sheets for waterproofing – Reinforced bitumen sheets for roof waterproofing – Definitions and characteristics’. The standard harmonises the methods of testing and assessment of the products and provides a consistent manner for the information to be expressed so that meaningful comparisons can be made by the end user. It does not state which products perform best under certain conditions, the decision on whether the product is fit for purpose and intended use still lays with the end user.

The approach the certification takes is twofold, samples of the products are tested for essential requirements as required by the standard (different requirements and test frequencies depend upon the intended use of the product). The test results for the essential characteristics are presented in a Declaration of Performance (DoP) which also shows basic manufacturer information and regulatory compliance of the product / group of products.

The certification body also assesses the company’s ability to produce consistent conforming products via its manufacturing procedures and controls and will then issue a FPC Certificate (Factory Process Control) which is audited annually.
