Permavent Permatac Double Lap Tape (20mm x 50m)

A double sided sealing tape with a pure polyacrylic adhesive and polyester fibre for strength. For use as a roofing underlay overlap seal, securing walling membranes, air and vapour control layers to a solid substrate (where a staple fix is cannot be achieved) sealing in around junctions and window reveals.

Designed for the permanent adhesion and connection of roof membranes, roof & vapour-insulation foils or paper based insulation.

With amendments made to BS 55434: 2014 regarding wind uplift, it has been made clear how important it is to seal membrane laps during installation. The most efficient way of doing this is with using double sided membrane tape.

To ensure Permavent's breather membranes continue to comply with the new regulations for Wind Uplift it is best to use Permatac. This double-sided membrane tape should be used to seal the laps effectively.
