Manthorpe Granulated Plain Tile Vent - GTV-PT-GRAN

Our Manthorpe Granulated Plain Tile Vents come in three classic roof colours, all with an authentic sand finish match granular finish concrete roof tiles. This adaptable solution provides discreet roof space, waste stack or extract ventilation on any roof pitch of 35 degrees or higher.

The idea is simple, the visible surface of this uPVC vent is coated with a durable layer of granular sand, which is matched to three standard roof colours. The ventilator is the size and shape of three, plain-textured, concrete roof tiles. When fixed in position it closely matches the appearance of the surrounding tiles.

The technical performance of these granulated roof vents is equally impressive. A louvred grille delivers free air flow of 7,000mm2 directly into the roof space. The grille prevents large insects and debris from entering the vent. Rainwater ingress is handled by an efficient series of angled, polypropylene channels. These channels funnel the water straight back onto the roof below the vent for disposal through the guttering. A special adapter can be fitted to the vent’s 48mm air outlet to modify the unit for mechanical extract or soil stack ventilation.

Independently Tested to BS 8612

Following the increased use of dry fix systems courtesy of these updates to BS 5534, a brand-new standard BS 8612 was introduced in February of 2018 to better control the design and material construction of dry fix systems. Manthorpe’s range of dry fix products have been independently tested to conform with the requirements of BS 8612, performance data for the tests conducted on these products is available upon request.

By far the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective way of complying with the new standard is to join the switch to dry fix methods of roofing. Manthorpe's dry fix systems provide a high performance, easy to fix and maintenance free solution which can not only speed up the job on site, but also offer long term financial benefits.

The Bat Ridge Roost provides a habitable roost space for small crevice-dwelling bat species found in the UK.

Designed in association with the Bat Conservation Trust as part of their Roost Partnership scheme the product is a self-contained, externally mounted unit which offers no means of access for the bats to enter the roof space or the property. The Bat Ridge Roost also acts as a ridge end cap and is optimised to work in conjunction with the Manthorpe SmartVerge Polypropylene handed and ambidextrous dry verge systems (alternatively, could also be used with third party dry verge, traditional verge tiles or mortared in verge details).
