Shocking delivery twice.

I recently received two deliveries of 875kg of stones.

The initial delivery incurred a £80 delivery fee for a 2-3 day service. However, the stones did not arrive until after 5 days. When I contacted the company on day 4 to inquire about the delay, they simply stated that the 2-3 day delivery window begins once the stones reach the local depot, and no apology was offered.

The second delivery was even more problematic. The stones were placed in the middle of the driveway, blocking my husband's car from parking. When my disabled husband asked the driver to move the stones so that he could park his car, the driver merely grunted and moved them a meter forward, still blocking the side access. Which is blocking the exit incase of a fire. My husband attempted to engage in a conversation with the driver, but the driver simply walked away. I phoned Ashbrook and they offered me a £14 refund for the inconvenience. The delivery company's service was unsatisfactory. Considering the delivery costs of £160, I would not recommend the company due to their poor customer service and the delivery company they use
