STROTEX AL Metallised Vapour Barrier 180gm2/R-0.87m2K/W 50m x 1.5m - Bulk / Pallet

The vapor barrier foil Strotex al 90 consists of an upper foil layer and a lower polyethylene membrane , an inner reinforcing layer of polypropylene mesh, which provides the highest tensile strength. The upper polyethylene layer is covered with aluminium foil, which reflects heat radiation. Vapor barrier membrane for use as an insulating layer regulating the level of water vapor in roofs, walls, floors and ceilings. Strotex AL90 is a combination of the latest technologies and standards, reliable protection and reasonable cost. The modern vapor barrier of the model presented before you is a membrane structure consisting of three layers: the middle in the form of a reinforcing grid with built-in polypropylene fibres, as well as two outer layers of polyethylene with the addition of a thin metallized layer. Interestingly, this version of the membrane is capable of reflecting thermal energy, thus forming an auxiliary insulation effect.

The main purpose of Strotex al 90, like any other vapor barrier membrane, is to protect the thermal insulation material from the ingress of water vapor, which is traditionally formed inside residential or industrial buildings as a result of vigorous human activities. Strotex al 90 perfectly fulfils its purpose in both ventilated and non-ventilated roof structures. The membrane of this model can be called an element in another way, which is an extremely powerful barrier to water vapor, sharp wind vibrations.
Products Strotex al 90, the price of which is fixed in this catalogue of our online store, has the following features:

  • Inaccessibility for the passage of water vapor - Strotex al 90 membrane do an excellent job of protecting the insulation, and, consequently, the whole house, from the ingress of unwanted moisture. Therefore, the thermal insulation material is able to function for a long time and without hindrance, without losing its shape and the initial level of quality
  • The membrane does not block the natural and free rotation of air - thus, thanks to this type of membrane , precious heat is not lost in the space where the insulation is installed
  • Auxiliary windproof properties - the material serves not only as an excellent "keeper" of thermal insulation from the penetration of unnecessary moisture. It is important that strotex al 90 also perfectly copes with the action of the wind, preserving the structure of the insulation in the selected state for many years of operation
  • High level of tensile strength - the membrane of this model are strong enough. It's all about the reinforcement, the layer, which, in fact, guarantees a stable structure of the membrane
  • Simple quick installation - the membrane is flexible and does not require excessive installation efforts

Among the technical characteristics, the following indicators should be emphasized:

  • Resistance to external pressure - 90 g / m2
  • Tensile strength - 220/150 N / 5cm
  • Supporting capacity for diffusion of water vapor - 300,000μ
  • Exposure range of temperature fluctuations - from -400 to 800 degrees Celsius
  • Fire classification level - G2
  • Traditional width - 150 cm
  • Traditional length - 50 cm
  • UV resistance guarantee - 3 months
  • Colour - metallic

An important point: the membrane of the Strotex al 90 model has a special ability to reflect heat. That is why it is good to use it to establish reliable protection in attic-type rooms, as well as in rooms with excessive active humidity levels.
