An important part of any pitched roof due to its ability to not only protect the ridge of your TapcoSlate Classic roof but also provides a decorative and professional finish once complete, the TapcoSlate Synthetic Hip and Ridge is available in a wide array of colours ranging from vibrant Brick Red to a dark and dramatic Stone Black. Made from the same lightweight and durable material as the popular TapcoSlate Classic range, this dry-fix ridge and hip cap offers a universal fixed ridge solution for almost any angle.
Suitable for most roof pitches, from 12° to 70°, these fittings are designed with a degree of flexibility to allow for easy fixing. They measure 440mm in overall length, with a facing pattern length of 210mm and a length of overlap of 230mm. The side length is 160mm, and six units cover one linear metre in ridge/hip lengths.

Installing TapcoSlate Classic Ridge and Hip caps is incredibly easy thanks to the pre-marked nailing guides and spacers, and cutting the caps with a sharp utility blade or fine-toothed saw is also a quick and straightforward process.

- Fully tested to BBA, UKTA and ETA standards, and has UKCA and CE marking, including fire rating, wind, driven snow & rain, and water absorption.
Buyer Notes
- Please note that ordering 5% more ridge is recommended to allow for breakages especially if a job is on a tight timescale. Some can be broken in transit and can be refunded.
- Six units cover one linear metre in ridge/hip lengths.
- These ridge/hip tiles are not made from recycled plastics but are manufactured from recyclable virgin limestone and polypropylene, making it an eco-friendly choice.
- It should be heated with a hot-air gun along the ridge before attempting to bend into shape.
