Ultraflex Matting 225g
Ultraflex Matting 225g - 20m or 60m Rolls
Ultraflex matting is a fibreglass chop-strand matting specially designed to be used as structural reinforcement of Ultraflex liquid waterproofing.
The resins used in Ultraflex matting are specially formulated to activate when are in contact with Ultraflex liquid membrane to form a monolithic fully reinforced membrane.
The matting is sandwiched between two layers of Ultraflex liquid in an easy ‘wet on wet’ application that forms a seamless waterproof membrane for applications such as extensions, terraces and balconies.
USES
- To be used with Ultraflex polyurethane membrane in waterproofing works
- Ideal for refurbishing or for new construction works. Suitable for all surfaces
- To ensure minimum recommended thickness while applying Ultraflex on wet-on-wet system
BENEFITS
- Permits the Ultraflex application on wet-on-wet system, avoiding any waiting times between necessary coats, thus decreasing the application operational time on site.
- It ensures the correct application of the membrane by guaranteeing the thickness of the membrane.
- The multidirectional interlacing of the fibres provides better resistance to tensions in all directions while it increases the tensile strength of the system.
- It contributes to the compensation of possible deficiencies in the support preparation.
- Facilitates de crack bridging and minimizes surface levelling differences reinforcing the system against eventual breakages.
